On the anniversary of Roe-v-Wade, Illinois Democratic Governor JB Pritzker is signing an Executive Order to guarantee the state’s reproductive rights law is being followed. 

46 years after the land mark decision Pritzker’s order forces a review of all state employee group health insurance to comply with the law passed last year and signed by then Republican Governor Bruce Rauner that gave abortion coverage to all employees. 

HB 40 last year expanded insurance coverage to all state employees and Medicaid recipients who wanted an abortion.
