Clinton Schools Looking At Staffing Instructional Coach

The Clinton Board of Education will explore hiring an instructional coach for grades 2-8.

Superintendent Curt Nettles explains the person hired would be additional support to the district staff to improve through things like finding professional development opportunities.

Nettles indicates this is something he has tried to bring in from the Regional Office of Education in the past but because of their limitations, he says it would be much easier for the district simply employ a person for this purpose.

Nettles anticipates in February knowing if this will be something the district pursues for next school year or they opt to do more research on.
