Jobs numbers were up for most in Illinois last month. 8 of the 14 metro areas in the state saw employment increases. Jobs are being added even as the state’s unemployment rate ticked up slightly says Sam Salustro with the Illinois Department of Employment Security.
The largest job losses were seen across central Illinois in Bloomington-Normal, Champaign-Urbana and Springfield.
