GOVERNOR J-B PRITZKER IS ISSUING NEW GUIDELINES TO HELP SLOW THE SPREAD OF COVID-19.

 

THE GOVERNOR SAYS ALL LARGE-SCALE EVENTS WITH MORE THAN ONE THOUSAND PEOPLE MUST BE CANCELLED FOR THE NEXT 30 DAYS. HE’S ALSO RECOMMENDING GATHERINGS OF 250 OR MORE BE NIXED AS WELL.

 

 

PRITZKER SAYS ALL MAJOR SPORTING EVENTS WITH LARGE CROWDS INCLUDING SCHOOL AND COLLEGE GAMES SHOULD BE CANCELLED UNTIL MAY FIRST AND THIS APPLIES TO ALL OF ILLINOIS.

 

 

PRITZKER ENCOURAGES BUSINESSES TO LET EMPLOYEES WORK FROM HOME. STATE GOVERNMENT WILL REMAIN OPEN BUT THE JAMES R. THOMPSON CENTER IN CHICAGO WILL BE LIMITED TO PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE AND HAVE BUSINESS WITH THE STATE.
