THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH IS REPORTING FOUR THOUSAND NEW COVID-19 CASES AND ANOTHER REGION IS GETTING MORE RESTRICTIONS.

THAT BRINGS THE TOTAL NUMBER OF CASES TO NEARLY 383 THOUSAND IN ILLINOIS AND MORE THAN 95-HUNDRED LIVES LOST SO FAR. WITH THE ADDITION OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO STARTING FRIDAY, SEVEN OF THE STATE'S 11 REGIONS ARE UNDER STRICTER MITIGATIONS LIKE NO INDOOR DINING BECAUSE OF RISING TEST POSITIVITY RATES. GOVERNOR J-B PRITZKER WAS ASKED IF HE WOULD CONSIDER ALLOWING RESTAURANTS IN THESE AREAS TO REMAIN OPEN INSIDE AS THE WEATHER GETS COLDER.

GOVERNOR J-B PRITZKER SAYS EVERYONE NEEDS TO DO THEIR PART TO GET THESE NUMBERS DOWN.

MORE REGIONS COULD FALL UNDER THE STRICTER MITIGATIONS BY THE END OF THE WEEK.

THE GOVERNOR ADDS THE STATE HAS GRANT PROGRAMS AVAILABLE TO STRUGGLING BUSINESSES.
