THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH IS ASKING FOR EVERYONE’S HELP WITH CONTACT TRACING.

CONTACT TRACERS ARE WORKING AROUND THE STATE, TRYING TO PINPOINT SOURCES OF INFECTIONS IN HOPES OF STOPPING SPREAD OF THE VIRUS. BUT ILLINOIS PUBLIC HEALTH DIRECTOR DOCTOR NGOZI (en-gahzi) EZIKE (eh-zee-kay) SAYS THEY ARE RUNNING INTO ROADBLOCKS.

EZIKE ASKS THE PUBLIC TO PLEASE ANSWER THE PHONE OR CALL BACK AND TO PROVIDE AS MUCH INFORMATION AS POSSIBLE SO THEY CAN BETTER TRACK OUTBREAKS. SHE STRESSES THAT NO PRIVATE HEALTH INFORMATION WILL BE GIVEN OUT.

EZIKE SAYS UNFORTUNATELY, CONTACT TRACERS HAVE BEEN HAVING TROUBLE GETTING PEOPLE TO RESPOND.
