Annual Baum Chevrolet Buick Car Show to Benefit Clinton YMCA's Camp Osage

The annual Baum Chevrolet Buick Car Show Sunday of the Apple n' Pork Festival will benefit the Clinton YMCA's Camp Osage program.

Janell Baum-Thomas is the Marketing Director for Baum Chevrolet and indicates registration for the annual show kicks off bright and early at 9 am Sunday with over a dozen categories of cars. She indicates the show is always a big hit for a lot of people during the Apple n' Pork Festival.

Proceeds from this year's car show will benefit the Clinton YMCA's Camp Osage summer program. The community lost David Torbert in February and he was not only a former employee of Baum Chevrolet Buick but he was passionate about youth programming through the Y.

Among the vehicles will be the Clinton YMCA's recognizable green bus and YMCA Executive Director Rennie Cluver says a lot of funds raised from Sunday's car show will likely be used to help maintain the bus as it is a big part of the things the Y does during the summer Camp Osage program.

You can purchase raffle tickets for the Sunday drawing by stopping into the Baum Chevrolet Buick Quick Lube, the cashier window at the main dealership, or at Baum's Farmer City location. You can get more information by finding the Baum Chevrolet Buick Facebook page or calling 217-935-3156.
