Dry and warm conditions should advance harvest in Illinois this week. Daytime highs will be in the 80’s and approaching 90’s in some areas with very little chance of rain.
Andy Ervin is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities. He says the lack of rain in northern Illinois this week will magnify drought conditions in that part of state.
