The annual health fair hosted by Warner Hospital in Clinton is canceled for 2021.

The event, scheduled for Thursday afternoon October 14, will be canceled and CEO Paul Skowron on the WHOW Morning Show Wednesday told Regional Radio News it is out of an abundance of caution.

Because of the small number of staff at the city-owned facility in Clinton, Skowron expressed his concern for the health of his staff. While the demographic of people that would likely and usually attend the health fair is likely a majority vaccinated, he was simply focused on the health of people.

As the cold and flu season approaches, Skowron is reminding the public to remember that flu shot.
