Heartland Bank has announced that ground will be broken on its new full-service branch facility behind the current Clinton Square location on August 21st, 2026, with expectations of the branch opening in the summer of 2027. 

To safely accommodate construction, the existing drive-up lanes will permanently close on August 21, 2026, and will be demolished. The branch lobby will remain open and will not be impacted during construction. 

During construction, customers may continue to use the ATM and night deposit at this location, as well as digital banking options such as online and mobile banking.

For Safe Deposit Box customers: the new branch will include safe deposit box services. Closer to opening, current safe deposit box holders will be contacted separately by phone, and a Heartland Bank team member will provide details regarding safe deposit box options, timing, and next steps.  

Leadership says the new branch will provide a more modern, efficient, and comfortable banking experience, including drive-up services. They express their gratitude for the patience and understanding of the community during the construction process, and they look forward to welcoming the community to the completed branch.
