A vision of Clinton Mayor Helen Michelassi officially gets off the ground this weekend.

The first Clinton home to be taken up by the block-by-block program will be the focus of local volunteers. Mayor Michelassi indicates they will begin work on the first of three approved houses for the program this weekend.

Mayor Michelassi promoted this program during her campaign in March of 2025. She indicates it mirrors a similar successful program in Decatur.
