The St. Louis District Dairy Council is rolling out some new programs as students get back into the classroom. 

Monica Nyman explains that whole milk has returned to lunchrooms around the Country this year for the first time since the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 under the Obama Administration. In honor of this, they are offering milk tastings for cafeteria managers to see if making the switch back to whole is right for them and their students.

Nyman indicates that the Dairy Council is offering new grant programs as well, including the coffee bar program. She says students are often purchasing coffee before school anyway, so this brings the coffee to the school.
