Illinois has filled out some of the gaps in its football schedules between 2019 and 2022 with the addition eight opponents that will include Wyoming and Bowling Green.

Illinois said in a news release Wednesday that it has added home games against Akron and Eastern Michigan in 2019 and Florida Atlantic and Bowling Green in 2020. The 2021 additions are home dates with Texas-San Antonio and Charlotte. And the Illini will host Wyoming and Central Michigan in 2022.

All of those schools except Akron will be new opponents for Illinois. And the Illini have faced Akron only once, a win in 1996.

The additions complete Illinois schedules through 2019.
