The Blue Ridge Knights took advantage of seven errors by Ridgeview en route to a 20-0, five inning route of the Mustangs in Heart of Illinois boys baseball action Wednesday from Colfax.

Thomas Hardesty paced the offense in a 3-for-3 day, including a double and two RBIs and he scored twice.

Cory Jayne drove in three and scored twice and freshman Jacob Mozinga had a bases clearing, 3-run double. Ben Williamson, Isaac Trotter, Calvin Florey and Dylan Lytel each had a pair of RBIs.

Jayne picked up the win on the mound. In five innings, he allowed a hit, issued five walks and struck out ten.

The Knights are 17-8 on the year and 10-1 in Heart of Illinois action. They'll host Hartsburg-Emden this afternoon in Farmer City.
