The Clinton Lady Maroons defeated the Tuscola Lady Warriors by a score of 3-0 on Thursday evening. The Lady Maroons were led by the Country Finanical representative Maroons Player of the Game Tori Wilson who was 1-3, and threw out two base runners. Senior Alexis Estes pitched for six innings with three hits, no runs, two walks, and twelve strikeouts. Estes is 20-5 in the season.
Junior Maddie Meinhold pitched for the Lady Warriors. She had four hits, three runs, three walks, and nine strikeouts.
With the win the Lady Maroons improve to 25-8 overall and 12-1 in conference action. Tuscola falls to 26-4 and 13-1.
The Lady Maroons wrap up their season Saturday at Central A&M. With the win they share the conference crown.
