The Clinton Maroons could only muster one hit on Wednesday afternoon against Paris in a 6-0 loss at Parkland College.

Nolan Hickman was one of three Maroons to reach base as Cam Elmore for Paris went the distance, allowing the one hit, a walk and struck out four. He also hit a batter.

Mac Hickman went two innings allowing three earned runs on four hits with no walks and two strikeouts.

Travis Osgood pitched four innings in relief and also allowed three earned runs on three hits with a walk and no strikeouts.

At 6-19, the Maroons will begin their preparations for Class 3A Regional action next week. The Maroons host Urbana Monday as part of the Champaign Central Regional.
