Chase Reynolds shot a 77 six-over par Tuesday afternoon at the Central Illinois Conference golf meet and was the day's medalist.
Having to go to a sudden death playoff, Reynolds beat Tuscola's Seth Icenogle at Fox Prairie Golf Course in Windsor.
With a team score of 393, the Maroons placed fifth at the CIC meet.
St. Teresa won the tournament as a team with a score of 346, followed by Sullivan's 354 and Tuscola's 367.
Clinton's Tanner Devore and Mac Hickman fired 103's and Wesley Conn shot a 110.
Clinton starts regional play next Tuesday at Vista Golf Course in Bloomington.
