Sages Roll Monmouth-Roseville, Wrap Up Undefeated Season

It was the Monticello Sages final tune-up before the postseason, and the Sages offense could not have been more sharp in a 68-27 win over Monmouth-Roseville Friday night.

 

Senior quarterback Caleb Hanson was 27 for 34 for 386 yards and five touchdowns.

 

Isiah Florey was the target of three of those five scores, hauling in six passes for 133 yards.

 

Nathan Graham had eight catches for 131 yards and two touchdowns.

 

Junior tailback Lucas Lieb finished with 12 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown.

 

For the first time in the tenure of Cully Welter in Monticello, the Sages finished the season undefeated and 9-0.

 

The Titans were led by Matthew Burris’ 204 yards and two touchdowns.
