Jordan Spieth is one of golf's greatest ambassadors. That's an undeniable fact that doubles as a weighty reality for a 23-year-old who wants to be a 23-year-old.

Many speculated whether the grueling schedule wore him down in the lead-up to the Masters. That might not have been a totally fair question, but it was certainly an earnest inquiry. And Spieth's recent revelation about his end-of-2016 and beginning-of-2017 schedule tell me he's thought about it a lot too.
There are no trips planned to Singapore and Abu Dhabi this time around, although Spieth will still head to Australia for the Australian Open. The seeds of this were planted after a worn-out Spieth discussed the labor of globetrotting earlier in 2016.
Spieth told ESPN quote- "It's been a wild schedule. And what I've learned is that I won't bounce back and forth from the States over here as often as I did. It's just tough."
"I just wanted an offseason. I needed some time off," Spieth told Golf.com.
