The Monticello Sages Class 3A semifinal football game with Elmhurst IC Catholic Saturday has been set for a 3 pm start time in Monticello.
The Knights of IC Catholic will travel for the first time this postseason after wins over St. Joseph-Ogden, Paxton-Buckley-Loda and Wilmington.
The Sages have been dominant in three postseason games. First routing Chicago Clark at home, then Westville on the road and this past Saturday's 48-17 win over Farmington.
The winner moves on to the state title game, the Friday following Thanksgiving, for a 4 pm kick from Memorial Stadium.
The winner Carlinville and Virden North Mac awaits.
