The Urbana Lady Tigers used a huge fourth quarter to rally past the Clinton Lady Maroons 65-55 in the season opener and the opener of the Clinton Turkey Tussle from Clinton High School.
 
Trailing 43-38 after three quarters, the Lady Tigers outscored the Lady Maroons 27-12 in the fourth quarter and overcame a 26-24 halftime deficit despite shooting 16-of-32 from the free throw line. 
 
Clinton shot 16-of-23 from the charity stripe.
 
Urbana's Ariel Scott led all scorers with 29 points and Lauryn Cross at 10.
 
Alyssa Saulsberry and Tori Wilson led the Lady Maroons with 16 apiece. Madi Filkin added eight.
 
Saulsberry was a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line.
 
Maroa Forsyth beat Decatur LSA in the tournament opener Monday, 54-16.
 
The Lady Maroons return to action in the Turkey Tussle, taking on Riverton at 7:30 pm.
