In a game heard Tuesday night on WHOW, the Clinton Lady Maroons limited the Riverton Lady Hawks in the second half, overcoming 21-15 halftime deficit to win by a score of 42-37 at the annual Clinton Turkey Tussle at Clinton High School.
 
The Lady Maroons outscored the Lady Hawks 27-16 in the second half and were 20-of-27 at the free throw line while the Lady Hawks were just 8-of-20.
 
The Lady Maroons were led by junior Alyssa Saulsberry with 15 points, and was named the Country Financial representative Stephan York Maroons Player of the Game. Sophomore Savannah Moore also chipped in with 12 points.
 
The Lady Hawks were led by Chloe Megginson with 11 points and Addison Pals added 8 points.
 
With the win the Lady Maroons improve to 1-1, and Riverton falls to 1-1.
