The Clinton Lady Maroons used a strong second half to surge past the Olympia Lady Spartans 49-39 Thursday night from the annual Clinton Turkey Tussle.
Trailing 32-31, the Lady Maroons used an 18-7 fourth quarter to surge by Olympia and improve to 2-1 on the season.
The Lady Maroons shot 23-of-35 from the free throw line compared to Olympia's 6-for-13.
Madi Filkin led the Lady Maroons with 12 points and Savannah Moore added 10 as nine Lady Maroons recorded points.
Kendra Peifer scored 12 points to lead the Lady Spartans.
