The Rantoul Eagles raced toa 44-22 halftime lead Tuesday night and never looked back as the Clinton Maroons feel 87-44 at Rantoul in non-conference boys basketball action Tuesday night.
Kevin Williams led the Eagles with 17 points. Martrellian Gibson added 16 points and Erick Johnson scored 14.
Dalton Smith led the Maroons with 12 points. He was the only Clinton scorer in double-figures.
Will Scott, Austin Rauch, and Kaleb Murphy-Leach added six apiece.
Rantoul improves to 6-2 overall while the Maroons drop to 4-3.
