Baylor No. 1 In Latest College Basketball AP Poll

The week that was in college basketball gave us plenty of entertainment. From now-former No. 1 ranked Villanova falling at the hands of Butler and ending the nation's longest winning streak, to Purdue flexing its muscles as a potential Big Ten favorite against Wisconsin.
It had a little bit of everything, which, in part, is what gave us a brand new team at the No. 1 spot, the Baylor Bears.

Kansas moves to second in the country while former no. 1 Villanova drops to third and UCLA and Gonzaga round out the top five.

The ACC dominated the rest of the top ten with Kentucky, Duke, Creighton, Florida State and West Virginia rounding out the top ten.

Oregon improved to 13th while Louisville dropped to 14th after their loss this week to Notre Dame.

Minnesota entered the rankings at no. 24 while Cincinnati enters this week's rankings at no. 22.

Despite their big win over Illinois, Indiana's 1-2 start in the Big Ten dropped them from the rankings.
