The Clinton Maroons and Monticello Sages will square off tonight at Clinton High School in a matchup of former conference opponents. 

 

The Maroons routed the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans Saturday at the Clinton New Year's shootout, that followed a heartbreaking overtime loss to Shelbyville, who won on an overtime game winning basket the night before. 

 

Ben Singleton's game winning jumper Saturday afternoon at Tri-Valley helped the Monticello Sages end a three game losing streak.

Monticello enters action tonight 8-3 overall while Clinton is 6-5 on the season.
