In a game heard on WEZC and at dewittdailynews.com, Rachel Lockmiller led three players in double figures for Monticello as the Lady Sages rolled past Rantoul 57-24 Monday night in Okaw Valley action.

Lockmiller scored eight of her game-high 17 points in the third quarter. Marissa McPike scored 14 points, four in each quarter before being removed in the fourth quarter with one field goal, and Zanna Myers chipped in with ten points.
The Lady Sages pulled ahead 9-2 in the first quarter but Rantoul would trim the lead to 15-8 after scoring the first four points of the second quarter, however, Monticello finished the second quarter on a 14-4 run and never looked back.
The Lady Sages improve to 14-2 overall and are 2-0 in Okaw Valley action.
The Lady Sages travel to St. Thomas More Thursday. Hear Lady Sages basketball action next Monday on WEZC and at dewittdailynews.com when Monticello hosts St. Joseph-Ogden. Tip time is 7:30 pm.
