Clinton Lady Maroons Fall to Tuscola Lady Warriors

As heard on WHOW, the Clinton Lady Maroons fell to the Tuscola Lady Warriors by a score of 47-32 on Thursday night. The Lady Maroons were led by junior Alyssa Saulsberry with seven points. Sophomore Claudia Workman added six points. Senior Alex Johnson and freshman Destiny Schlesinger also chipped in with five points each. Schlesinger was named as the Country Financial representative Stephan York Maroons Player of the Game.

 

The Lady Warriors were led by senior Emma Henderson with 15 points and four field goals and sophomore Natalie Bates with 14 points.

 

With the loss the Lady Maroons fall to 7-12 overall and 1-2 in Central Illinois Conference action. Tuscola improves to 12-4 on the season and 3-0 in the CIC.
