As heard on WEZC and at dewittdailynews.com Monday night, the Monticello Lady Sages used lock-down defense and balanced scoring to top Tolono Unity 50-15 in Okaw Valley Girls Basketball action.

 

The Lady Sages shut out the Lady Rockets in the first quarter as Unity scored their first basket over 10 minutes into the game. By that time the Lady Sages had built an 18-2 lead.

 

Emma Reeder led the Monticello with 14 points. Zanna Myers added nine while Tatum McCall added eight and Rachael Lockmiller chipped in with seven points.

 

Hannah Rutledge and Jordy Curtis each led the Lady Rockets with five apicee. 

 

Unity drops to 12-10 on the season and the Lady Sages improve to 16-4 overall.
