HS BBALL: Maroons & Sages In Action Tonight

>>Maroons Go For Third Place at CIC Tournament
 
The Clinton Maroons will go for third place tonight at the Central Illinois Conference boys basketball tournament from Sullivan High School when they meet up with Tuscola.
 
The Warriors were defeated by the tournament's top-seed, Decatur St. Teresa Tuesday night. 
 
The Maroons, who were coming off an upset of the second seed in the tournament, Warrensburg-Latham, the Maroons fell to Shelbyville Tuesday night.
 
Shelbville and Decatur St. Teres will play for the tournament title at 7:30 pm. 
 
Game time tonight between Clinton and Tuscola from Sullivan is 6 pm. Hear all the action on 92.3 FM WHOW and online at dewittdailynews.com. 
 
>>Sages Host Rantoul
 
The top team in the Okaw Valley is up next for the Monticello Sages when they welcome Rantoul to Monticello High School.
 
The Eagles enter action 6-0 in Okaw Valley play and are 16-6 overall. 
 
Rantoul beat Monticello 49-45 back on January 6th in Rantoul.
 
The Sages lost for the first time since that matchup Tuesday at St. Joseph-Ogden, 63-51.
 
The Sages are 14-4 overall and 2-2 in the Okaw Valley conference.
