St. Joseph-Ogden Too Much For Maroa-Forsyth

The high powered St. Joseph-Ogden offense was too much for the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans as the Spartans rolled to a 72-53 victory in non-conference boys basketball action Tuesday night from St. Joseph.
 
Brandon Trimble scored a game-high 24 points and Drayke Lannert added 13 points on four three point baskets. Jack Cook chipped in with ten points for the Spartans.
 
The Trojans opened up a 21-11 first quarter lead, but the Spartans stormed back to outscore Maroa-Forsyth 39-16 over the next two quarters.
 
Daanish Mahmood led a balanced scoring attack for Maroa-Forsyth with 19 points, scoring 12 points in the first quarter. Ian Bonner scored 14 points and Aaron Agee added 11 points.
 
The Spartans return to action Friday night at Monticello High School to wrap up the regular season. 
 
The Trojans are at PORTA Friday and wrap up the regular season Saturday at Tolono Unity.
