The Monticello Lady Sages will go for a Section title tonight when they meet Bloomington Central Catholic at 7 pm at Champaign St. Thomas More.
Off a 50-41 victory Tuesday night over Fithian-Oakwood, this year's seniors are trying for something they've not been able to achieve in their four year: a trip to the elite eight.
Monticello has won four straight regional titles, but the elusive sectional title has evaided the Lady Sages.
The 18-4 Lady Sages have not faced the Lady Saints this year.
Tonight's winner meets the winner of tonight's Newton Section title game, Newton/Teutopolis, Monday night at 7 pm at Parkland College for a trip to Redbird Arena in Normal.
