The Clinton Maroons boys baseball squad rallied to take a walk-off win over Ridgeview Saturday in game one of a double-dip 3-2 then bounced Ridgeview early with a 9-1 victory in the second game.
Travis Osgood allowed two runs on three hits in the opener while Wesley Conn came on in relief.
Mac Hickman and Jake Wade each went 2-for-4 with a run scored in the first game. Levi Nettles finished 1-for-3 with a pair of RBI.
Wesley Conn scored the game winning run in the bottom of the 7th inning.
In the second game, Keaton Thayer tossed five innings of four-hit ball to keep Ridgeview at bay. He allowed an earned run with nine strikeouts and a walk.
Levi Nettles pitched two innings of relief for the Maroons four strikeouts to zero walks and allowed a hit.
Hickman added another pair of hits with three runs scored. Conn also crossed the plate three times in the second game and Waded finished 2-for-3 with a double and pair of RBI.
Clinton is 3-1 on the season after the Saturday sweep.
