Lady Maroons Defeat St. Teresa in Conference Softball

Lady Maroons defeat St. Teresa in CIC softball action 10-2 in a game heard on WHOW on Tuesday evening.
 
Mackenzie Armstrong, pitcher for the Maroons, got the win. She pitched seven innings, gave up 2 runs on 7 hits while striking out 8, and walking none.
 
The Lady Maroons were led by Rodjahnar Dupont-Barlow, Stephan York Country Financial Player of the Game, who went 3-for-3 with a 3 run double, 4 RBIs, 2 stolen bases, and 2 walks.
 
Zoie Polen went 1-for-4 with 3 RBIs and Amanda Tool went 2-for-4 with one RBI.
 
Hannah Stoneburg takes the loss for St. Teresa, pitching for seven innings, giving up 10 runs on 8 hits while striking out one, walking 8 and hitting two batters.
 
The Maroons go to 3-6 on the season and 1-1 in conference play; while St. Teresa falls to 1-7 overall and 0-2 in conference.
