Warrenbsurg-Latham Edges Clinton

A first inning run was all Wes Campbell needed for Warrensburg-Latham as he went the distance in shutting out the Clinton Maroons 1-0 in Central Illinois Conference boys baseball action Tuesday afternoon in Warrensburg.
Caleb Hermann tripled in the first inning and scored on a base hit by Logan Bledsaw for the Cardinals. 
 
Jake Wade was terrific for the Maroons. He went six innings, allowing the single run on three hits, with two walks and two strikeouts.
 
Campbell allowed two hits, five walks and struck out two. 
 
Parker West and Wade had the Maroons only two hits.
 
The Cardinals are 7-4 overall and 3-1 in the CIC while Clinton drops to 4-7 and 1-3 in CIC play.
