Clinton Fall to Central A&M

As heard on WHOW, the Clinton Maroons fell to the Central A&M Raiders by a score of 28-18 on homecomng. The Clinton Maroons were led by Bryson Carson who had 20 carries for 66 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Ty Berter was 9 of 16 passing for 117 yards and a touchdown. Clayton Welch had five carries for 63 yards. Garrett Hayden was named the Country Financial representative Brad James Maroons Player of the Game. Hayden had two sacks and contributed to Carson's good game.

 

The Raiders were led by Riley Black with 22 carries for 106 yards and a touchdown. Jamison Smith was 9 of 14 passing for 198 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. Jacob Paradee had eight catches for 160 yards and two touchdowns.

 

With the loss the Maroons fall to 1-3 overall and 0-2 in the Central Illinois Conference. Central A&M improve to 4-0 on the season and 2-0 in conference action.
