With the playoffs out of the picture for the Clinton Maroons, they can play spoiler tonight when they head to Warrensburg-Latham High School to take on the Cardinals.
The Maroons at 2-5 overall will take on the 4-3 Cardinals. The Cardinals need a victory to be eligible for the postseason but two wins to be guaranteed a spot in the postseason.
The Maroons lost last Friday night 40-0 against Shelbyville. Warrensburg-Latham routed Meridian 55-7 last Friday and are at Central A&M next Friday.
