The Coyotes are one of two teams with a 6-0 record in MVFC play along with North Dakota State, something that has only happened three times in league history, including this year.

Coyotes senior quarterback Chris Straveler was named both the Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week and FCS National Performer of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards for his performance last weekend against Indiana State. Streveler accounted for five touchdowns, completed 27 of 32 passes for 337 yards, while running eight times for 82 yards.

Game time Saturday is 2 pm.

>>EIU Hosts Jacksonville State

Hosting the third ranked team in the country Saturday afternoon, Eastern Illinois will put a four-game win streak on the line when the Panthers host Jacksonville State.

Off a 27-24 double overtime win last Saturday in Charleston, the Panthers and Gamecocks are both undefeated in Ohio Valley Play.

The two square off for a 2 pm kick.
