Illinois At Purdue, ISU Hosts Western, Eastern At Home

Illinois starts the final month of their season with a trip to West Lafeyette, IN for a matchup with Purdue.
Illinois played with Wisconsin for most of the game last week but could not come up with enough offense to take down the ninth ranked team in the country, in a 24-10 loss.
 
The Boilermakers are looking to snap a three-game skid, their latest loss was at home to Nebraska last Saturday 25-24.
 
The Fighting Illini have lost six in a row and are looking for stability at the quarterback position. Jeff George Jr and Cam Thomas combined for just 152 yards through the air with two interceptions and were sacked a combined five times. Thomas did have a team high 89 rushing yards. 
 
Game time Saturday is 11 am on the Big Ten Network.

Coming off back-to-back wins over nationally-ranked opponents, No. 12 Illinois State returns home to host in-state rival No. 15 Western Illinois in the 100th game in the all-time series between the two programs on Family Weekend at ISU.
For the second-consecutive week, Robinson rushed for over 100 yards to lead the Redbirds to a victory over Youngstown State.
 
Western's Steve McShane rushed for 90 yards and matched a career-high of two touchdown runs last week in a loss to nationally-ranked South Dakota State. He also added another receiving touchdown to go along with on 66 yards receiving on three receptions. 
 
The Leathernecks started the season 3-0, before suffering a close 38-33 defeat at the hands of then No. 10 ranked South Dakota to begin MVFC play. Two more wins at UNI and against Missouri State followed, but WIU heads into the game against ISU as losers of the last two contests at No. 2 North Dakota State and at home against No. 11 South Dakota State.
 
Game time Saturday is noon from Hancock Stadium in Normal.
 
>>EIU Hosting Eastern Kentucky Saturday
 
Eastern Illinois dropped its second straight Ohio Valley Conference game last Saturday falling at UT Martin 27-10.  The Panthers need one win in their last two games to secure a third consecutive winning season. 
They'll get the chance Saturday in Charleston hosting Eastern Kentucky at 1 pm. 
 
Eastern Illinois had five turnovers in Saturday's loss to UT Martin.  It was the highest number of turnovers in a game this season for the Panthers.
