>>Redbirds Go Into Senior Day Needing Win

It all comes down to this for the Redbirds, who need a victory to improve their win total to seven and potentially earn a spot in the FCS playoffs for the fourth-consecutive season. However, the task ahead of them is daunting with seven-time MVFC champion and fourth-ranked North Dakota State heading to Hancock Stadium on Senior Day.
The Redbirds lost in tough fashion to South Dakota State in Brookings last Saturday.

RB James Robinson scored a pair of touchdowns, including the game-tying score that sent the game to overtime at South Dakota State. Robinson rushed for 83 yards on 15 carries to up his season total to 837 yards, which ranks him third in the MVFC this season. His 11 touchdowns are tied for second overall, and his 83.7 yards per game are fourth-most among league ball carriers.

This week's matchups is the third straight against a top-25 opponent for ISU.

Game time is noon from Hancock Stadium.

>>Eastern Illinois Wraps Up Season At Austin Peay

The Eastern Illinois Panters will return from their bye-week and will look to wrap up the season in winning fashion when they take on Austin Peay on Saturday.
Likely out of the playoff picture, the Panthers will at least have a winning season as they enter action 6-4 overall.

The 7-4 Governor's still have an outside chance at the postseason, so Senior Day in Clarksville, TN will be a meaningful game.

Game time Saturday is 4 pm. Hear the action The Big 1520 AM/92.3 FM WHOW and online at dewittdailynews.com.
