Maroa-Forsyth Drops Argenta-Oreana

The Maroa-Forsyth Trojans used a 24-11 third quarter and opened up a 54-32 advantage heading into the fourth quarter, allowing them to get by Argenta-Oreana 65-48 Thursday night in non-conference boys basketball action from the Macon County Tournament Thursday night from Cerro-Gordo Bement High School. 
 
Drew Hicks hit a pair of threes in the third quarter outburst and Daahnish Mahmood also had six points in the third. 
 
Mahmood scored 22 of his game high 30 points in the first half. Aaron Agee scored 12 points for the Trojans.
 
Drew Johnson paced a balanced scoring attack for the Bombers with 12 points. 
 
Nate Logan and Logan Batson each added eight points apiece and Kyle Rigsby chipped in with seven points.
 
The Trojans improve to 3-4 overall and host Warrensburg-Latham next Thursday.
 
The Bombers are at Unity next Tuesday.
