Dannish Mahmood scored 25 points to lead three Maroa-Forsyth scorers in double-figures as the Trojans held off Blue Ridge 64-61 Thursday at the Decatur St. Teresa Holiday Tournament.
The Trojans trailed 36-33 at the break and were much closer thanks to Mahmood's 12 first half points.
The Trojans held a 15-10 third quarter advantage to take control.
Hayden Mitchell scored 12 points for the Trojans and Aaron Woodrow added ten.
The Knights were led by Clay Stevens and Tim Crook with 14 points apiece. Dan Houser added 13 points and Nick Burrow chipped in with 12 points for a balanced attack by the Knights.
The Decatur St. Teresa Holiday Tournament resumes today.
