The Decatur St. Teresa Bulldogs used a big second quarter to get by the Clinton Maroons in the Central Illinois Conference Tournament semifinal, 54-36, Tuesday night at Tuscola High School.

 

Leading 14-11 after the first quarter, the Bulldogs held the Maroons to three points in the second quarter and opened up a 26-14 advantage at the half. The closest the Maroons would get would be 11 the rest of the way.

 

Seth Westfall led the Maroons with 13 points and Austin Baker added 10 points.

 

Isaiah Bond and Manny Green each scored 18 points to lead St. T, who will take on Meridian Friday night at 7:30 pm for the tournament title.
