It wasn't the most dazzling of victories but the Monticello Lady Sages did enough to get by Olympia 47-32 Thursday night at Olympia High School in Illini Prairie Conference girls basketball action.
Tatum McCall led the way for the Lady Sages with 18 points, who pulled away gradually in the second half, though their play was sloppy throughout the game.
The Lady Sages were coming off a week with losses to Champaign St. Thomas More, Bloomington Central Catholic and Danville Schlarman. They bounced back this week with wins at Tolono Unity and Olympia and will conclude their regular season Saturday at Prairie Central.
The Lady Spartans were led Colby Burt with ten points.
Emily Wilson scored eight points and Zanna Myers chipped in with seven for the Lady Sages.
