As heard on WHOW, the Clinton Maroons fall to Decatur Eisenhower by a score of 69-56 on Monday night at the Decatur MacArthur Regional in 3A boys postseason basketball action.
The win makes Eisenhower the only Class 3A team to beat the Maroons this season.
Senior Seth Westfall was the leading scorer with 17 points. The Country Financial representative Brad James Maroons Player of the Game Chase Reynolds added 15 points.
Eisenhower was led by Quylan Young with 19 points. Yansyn Taylor and Keon Jones both chipped in with 14 points.
With the loss, the Maroons season ends 14-12 and 2-5 in the CIC. Eisenhower improves to 12-17 and advances to take on Springfield Southeast tomorrow night.
