Jeff Willeaver drove in four runs to pace the Monticello offense past Oakwood 14-3 in non-conference boys baseball action Thursday afternoon from Oakwood.
Willeaver finished 2-for-5 with a double, triple, and a game high four RBIs. Asher Bradd reached base five times, drove in two and scored twice. Mitch Carr finished 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Luke Stokowski finished 2-for-3 and drove in a run. Alek Bundy reached base three times (2 BB, hit) and scored twice. Alex Marquardt scored twice for the Sages.
Cam Wittig picked up the win, finishing with 4 1/3 innings, allowing three runs, three earend, on six hits with two walks and three strikeouts. Andrew Rudolph pitched 2 2/3 scoreless innings in relief with four strikeouts to zero walks and allowed two hits.
The Sages are 6-0 on the season.
