Clinton Lady Maroons Fall to Maroa Forsyth

As heard on WHOW, the Clinton Lady Maroons fell to the Maroa Forsyth Lady Trojans by a score of 10-1 on Friday evening. The Lady Maroons had one run, two hits, and two errors. Mackenzie Armstrong was named the Country Financial representative Brad James Maroons Player of the Game. Armstrong went 2 for 2 with a run scored and a walk. Olivia Sanders took the loss pitching for six innings, 10 runs, 12 hits, two walks, and seven strikeouts.

 

The Lady Trojans had 10 runs, 12 hits, and one error. Kate Beckemeyer took the win pitching seven innings with one run, two hits, walking two and striking out nine. Braylee Finck went three for four with a double and two RBIs. Kaylee Robinson was two for three with a solo homerun.

 

With the loss the Lady Maroons fall to 0-2 and Maroa improves to 5-1.
