The Monticello Sages football team take their perfect 13-and-oh record into Memorial Stadium on the campus of the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign on Friday afternoon at 4, when they play 13-and-oh Byron in the Illinois High School Association Class 3-A State Championship game.

WEZC 95-point-9, the Voice of the Sages, will provide live coverage starting at 3:50.  WEZC will also stream the game live at dewittdailynews-dot-com.

Monticello defeated a strong Carlinville team last Saturday 40 to 14 to advance to the Class 3-A State Football Championship.
