Monticello crushes 2nd half, Sages beat Storm 58-24

Monticello traveled to start their traveling three games series and started off with a bang in the victory over Salt Fork winning the game 58-24.

 

Ben Singleton went on a rampage in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, as he totaled 18 points to help lead the Sages victory. Ryan Reeder followed with 13 total points, and Garret Kepley and Devin Graham tied with 7 points. The Sages helped separate themselves from the Storm coming out in the 2nd half putting up 24 points just in the 3rd quarter. 

 

Salt Fork struggled with keeping the ball, as only four of their players were able to put points on the board. Payton Taylor was the leading scorer for the Storm with 11, followed by Matthew Wrzosek with 5, and Dawson Dodd and Logan Appleman tied with 4 points. 

 

Monticello getting the victory against Salt Fork improve to 3-0, while Salt Fork goes to 1-1. Next game for the Sages will be at Auburn Tuesday, December 12, with tip-off at 7:30 pm. You can listen to the game on 95.9 FM WEZC or stream at dewittdailynews.com.
