Maroons Drop First Conference Game to Tuscola 51-42

Seven different Maroons scored at least a point Friday night, but it wasn't enough as
they fell to the Tuscola Warriors 51-42 in their first conference match-up of the
season. Jared Jording led the Maroons in scoring with eight points. Zeke Hickman
and Cal Case each added seven in the loss.

 

The Warriors were led by Jalen Quinn, who scored a game-high 24 points.

 

With the loss, the Maroons fall to 5-10 (0-1) on the season. The Warriors improve to 11-3 (1-0).

 

The boy's basketball team is back in action Saturday, January 5th against Sangamon Valley
at 7:30. The game can be heard on WHOW and streamed online at
dewittdailynews.com.
